Thanks to the support of their companion parish St. Paul's Nantucket, construction of the new San Juan Evangelista church in Vertientes is well underway.
As you can see in the photos below, which we received from Rev. Yannel Valdivia, the key columns for the building are now complete. Next step will be acquiring the cement blocks and building the walls! We will keep you posted on progress of this exciting project as we learn more.
