March 6th, 7th and 8th, Friends of the Episcopal Church in Cuba attended the Episcopal Parish Network (formerly know as CEEP) in Houston, TX. With about 800 attendees from churches all across the US, this was a great opportunity for us to raise awareness of the current challenges facing our brothers and sisters in Cuba - and to generate support for three key programs: The Christmas Community Meal Program; The Water Purification System and Well Program; and the Companion Parish Program. We had a lot of meaningful discussions/conversations and will be following up over the coming weeks to try and transform some of those conversations into real support.
