"The Episcopal Church in Cuba is alive and well and full of the Holy Spirit" says Reverend Anthony Guillen, Missioner for the Latino/Hispanic ministries at The Episcopal Church.
Rev. Anthony was in Havana last weekend for the June 24th installation of Bishop Rafael Morales Maldonado as the interim Bishop for the Diocese of Cuba. Bishop Rafael, who has served the Diocese of Puerto Rico since 2017, will lead the important process of electing a new Bishop to lead Cuba into the future - following the retirement of Bishop Griselda earlier this year.
The weekend celebrations also included the ordination of Carmen Esther Nualla as Deacon. Carmen most recently served as Assistant to Bishop Griselda Delgado del Carpio.
