For the past two years, you have helped us provide a joyous Christmas meal and celebration for all Episcopal communities throughout Cuba. We say this every year - but providing support to our brothers and sisters in Cuba has never been more difficult, and yet has never been more necessary. This year has been extraordinarily challenging with very severe shortages of food, fuel, medicine and electricity. Two recent hurricanes and an earthquake have compounded the already desperate situation. As Bishop Rafael expressed during our National Webinar this week, "These meals change lives and bring hope. And Cuba needs hope now more than ever".
Last year's campaign to provide a Christmas dinner celebration for all 52 Episcopal communities across Cuba was a huge success. Our goal for this year is to provide $350 per community (a total of $18,200). As we approach Thanksgiving week and reflect upon everything we are grateful for, please consider a donation of any amount to support this project, so that each of these communities can experience the gift of food and celebration this Christmas.
Please send checks made payable to FECC (with Feliz Navidad in the memo line) to:
Rev. Mark Pendleton - Treasurer,
218 Post Road
Greenland, NH 03840
All donations are tax deductible as we are a 501C3 organization.
We are thankful for your support and wish you and your family a wonderful Christmas.
If you were unable to join us for our webinar this past Sunday, please visit our website for a full recording of the session.
